AI Sharpen Image

Last updated: July 30, 2026.

Local Sharpen runs in your browser. Selected images are decoded and processed locally with Canvas APIs and are not uploaded by that mode. AI 2x mode is separate and uploads only after you press Run AI 2x.

What we collect

We do not create public result pages or intentionally log image contents or filenames. Standard Vercel and RunPod service logs may include request metadata, timestamps, job IDs, status, runtime, IP address, and user agent for security, billing, and reliability.

Storage

The tool creates temporary browser object URLs for preview and download. They are revoked when you replace the image, reset the tool, or leave the page. We do not create public result pages.

RunPod AI 2x beta

Before upload, the browser reduces the image to at most about 1 megapixel and encodes a WebP derivative. The server validates the decoded MIME, dimensions, animation, and transparency, strips metadata, and sends the derivative to RunPod for a fixed ComfyUI and Real-ESRGAN workflow. RunPod may process data in an available infrastructure region. Job results may remain retrievable from RunPod's status endpoint for up to 30 minutes under its current Serverless behavior. The site does not add durable image storage; ordinary provider security and billing logs may follow the provider's separate retention practices.
